This air conditioner is great.It was very easy to install.You don't need anything extra to put in in the window,up and running in 15 minutes cooled a pretty nice size area in about a hour and now keeps it cool. Purchase this window AC unit a couple of weeks ago, gives out great cold air. My central AC unit broke and is goimg to cost a lot of money to replace, the temperature outside was near 100 degrees, so I needed something urgent to tie me over until the central air unit is fixed, this was a great buy, and great for emergencies and back up.

Easy to install and can change the settings with the remote. Great Air Conditioner especially for the price, cools down my smallish living room to the point where it was actual to cold. I would highly recommend haven a window brace or mount on the outside of the window. Fits in my window which is 25" wide with no problem however I had to remove the bottom part of the window in order for it to fit length wise appx :13-14" high as my apartment is in the attic. More traditional windows should be fine. Also, the bracket to brace the air conditioner on the inside sill is short so a window sill that is short will not be able to take the bracket, unfortunately I learned the hard way and mine is braced by the window alone. I bought this in hopes it will help cool down my house that is 1100 sq ft. Let me tell you I am so happy I bought this unit. It has a remote and a lot of functions my old one did not have. I live in central Florida so if you have been here you know it can be hot. We aren't in the summer months but I think it will be able to keep up.

The only thing I cannot mention is how much more my electric bill is with the new unit. This is a great buy! Love that there is a remote so when it gets too cold I don't have to get out of bed. I put this in my bedroom in the sweltering Cali heat we have been having and it is amazing. I have a floor AC unit in my living room (no central AC!) and this unit is, by far more powerful ( same BTU strength) It is a little loud but I don't care because it delivers the cold air!! I live in Houston Tx and the temps have been in the 3 digits. This cools my living and dining rooms off wonderfully and he have high vaulted ceilings.
