The Automotive Technology program at MATC is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified program. Students in the program have the option to be certified by the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) in refrigerant recover/recycling. MATC has an articulation agreement with Pittsburg State University, Kansas State University, and Fort Hays State University. Through these agreements, students may transfer their MATC credits towards a Bachelor's degree. This program aligns with the Kansas Board of Regents Curriculum.
