I called the best known heating and air company in town and they said $49 per lb. Another place said $44. I started calling some of the smaller guys and finally got answers around $35. My advice is make sure you call at least 4 places before hiring anyone.

i need to make some money too not loose money.what do you think dear customers.?Flag08/25/2010Nice guy but priceyI believe the price was pretty expensive for the work completed.He charged me $125 for sevice/inspection, $180 for 4 pounds of freon, $150 for coil wash.The total was $455 with one hour and 15 minutes of work and No Warranty on freon leaks.When I rasied my eyebrows, he gave me an immediate discount of $55 and the total cost was $400.Nice guy but still too much.In response of the above review,i would say that i did not over charge. i think it was a fair price because when i perform a single service/inspection i do 21 points of inspection in the system plus includes the labor on the repair, also the regular price on a outdoor coil chemical wash/clean is $195.00 which i charged $150.00 and i put total 5 Lbs. of R-22 Freon (1 Lb. included in service/inspection price)at $45.00 ea.which most companies charge more money per pound. On top of that i gave him an extra discount of $55.00 .
