Thank you to the great group of volunteers from Fox Service Company who came and helped our Zookeepers today. In just a few hours, they moved new substrate into Red Foxes Mik and Nik’s habitat and got all of the hoof stock yards raked clean. After the work was done we got everyone together for this group photo in front of Red Foxes Mik and Nik’s habitat where the Fox Service Company sponsorship sign was just installed. Thank you for your generous donation and hard work to help our animals.The Fox Body was introduced in 1979, built on the Fox Platform. This was a huge departure from the styling of the Mustang II. The platform is bigger, the engine bay is bigger, the interior and exterior completely restyled. In 1979 the Turbo 4 cylinder debuted, the oil crisis meant that Ford was focusing on fuel economy instead of performance until 1982 when the 302 cu in (H.O.) returned. A convertible was added back into the lineup for 1983 after a 9 year absence. The Mustang SVO made its debut in 1984 with the more powerful 2.3 L turbocharged inline four.

Several limited editions were produced during this time. In 1993 the Ford SVT Cobra and Cobra R were produced.

The Last Fox was produced in September of 1993. The Fox body mustangs retain a huge following to this day, and as a result many aftermarket and performance products are available.
