Price was good and service was great.ShareFlag09/20/2010100 % SatisfiedAfter searching several sites for a reliable Ac repair/service company, i came across Gibson Air Conditioning and Reg located in Winter Haven Fl, The tech came out on the same Day with no additional fees, The tech Knew exactly what needed to be done, he explained in details cause of issue and several options for resolution. he was in and out in a reasonable amount of time.and we did not feel like we were being taken to the cleaners.

I called a heating and air place out of Tampa and they came out and checked my unit.

They recommended that I replace my unit. I can't remember the name of the place now or I would tell you who it was. I decided to get a second opinion and called Gibson. Mike came out the same day. I did not tell him what the other place stated. He looked at it and told me I needed a few new parts and had it up and running in a no time. A new unit would have been thousands of dollars and my bill was less than two hundred!!!!! I would recommended Mike at Gibson any day. I have passed this story on to all my friends and family.ShareFlag06/08/2010GREAT AND HONEST COMPANYI called Gibson Air Conditioning and got the secretary who took down the information that was needed to quote me a price on a new unit for my home. I was very much impressed when she explained the difference between a heat pump and a stright cool system and the difference between the seer ratings. I got a call back within 15 mins with several quotes. I requested that a service guy come to my home to make sure that I was getting the right unit and the next day Mike came to my house and I ordered my new unit.

The next day 2 guys (Steve and John) came and installled the unit. I am very please with the service I got from everyone at Gibson Air Condition. I would recommend that company to anyone.Based on the reviews here I felt like Gibson was the company to call first, and I'm glad I did. Just try to get any of these other guys out here the same day you call without getting hit with some b.s. overtime fee. Mike came out, serviced the a/c, and gave some solid advice on how to keep the system running effectively. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike and Gibson Air to my friends and family. Stand up guy, solid service, reasonable price. Thanks.ShareFlag05/04/2010The only repair man you will ever need!!Thanks is the first thing that comes to mind. When I think about what he did and the level of service the commerical with the guys with the yellow capes comes to mind. I called Mike after reading some positive reviews and thought he would do a good job, man was I wrong, he did a GREAT job. I called him at around 1:00pm on 5-3-10 he was able to squeeze me in by 6:30 the same day even though he had a very busy evening that night:)

He showed up and quickly fixed the problem, an easy problem. The thing is he told me it was a easy problem he didn't make it out to be more that it was so that he could charge more. Mike even took the time to break the problem down so that I, someone that has no idea about AC systems could understand. The thing was while he was fixing the problem I kept giving him opens to bump up the bill by asking him if I need this fixed or that looked at. On top of all of the honestly and being able to squeeze me in, but he had personality. It's hard to find a service personal in any industry that doesn't just node, grunt, and fix the problem. LADYS HE IS SINGLE!! This is getting to long. Great guy, great job. Mike is the only AC repairman you should ever consider.CALL HIM if you need help.ShareFlag10/06/2008GREAT SERVICEMy fathers is 73 years old and on Sat he called me and told me that his air conditioner was not running. Since I live 2 hours away I could not go to see what was wrong. After calling several different A/C companys in Polk County the only one that I could reach a live person to talk to and explain what was happening was Gibson Air Conditioning.

I left my number with the answering service and within 15 min I got a call from Mike. I explained that my father lived in Winter Haven and I could not come right away. Mike told me that he would go and see what the problem was and he would call me back before he done anything. Mike did just as he said he would. My fathers system was up and running that afternoon. I also ask Mike if he could get a filter and leave it with my father and I would put it in when I came up there. Mike got the filter, put it in and wrote me a note that all was taken care of. I ask Mike to go to my fathers home every 6 months and change the filter out and check my father A/C. I am so thrilled that I found someone I could trust and depend on.
