kmart window ac units

I purchased this air conditioner for a small room (about 225 square feet). It has done a very good job of keeping the room comfortably cool. I also like that it is lightweight enough for me to lift. Installed the window unit last week, cooling in room is mediocre. The previous unit I replaced was much cooler. This comes with everything you need to install it (except the tools). It has the adjustable sides, the mounting brackets etc.. It works well, and I run it non-stop! Small room air conditioner Better price than have seen with similar units. Bought for upstairs bedrooms in home that has central air, but needed something at night. Does cool room well when on higher settings. Light enough weight so putting in window for a 50ish female was not a problem. This is a good air conditioner for the priced. Window Air Conditioners in Air Conditioners Very good air conditioner for small space Bought this to help out with the living room & kitchen part of my house ( already had a small one in there but it just wasn't enough to do anything).
It gets so cold in there now that we get chills! I actually had to turn it down. I thought for sure it would have to run full blast to keep the Texas summer heat at bay but nope this little a/c is wonderful! This item is great works well and is small enough to handle easily, energy usage is very low. Cool nicely in my two room shop. We purchased this for my son to use in his college apartment. It is compact and works well. He cools two rooms nicely. we would reccomend this product. It was a good price and delivered on cooling! We bought this air conditioner and it has been great.  Keeping cool on these hot summer days. The staff were helpful and friendly. So we got this to put in the window of our guest room/playroom when my mother-in-law came to town...knowing that it probably was a little small for the space. We were shocked at how it cooled down the large space! This little A/C is amazing! Purchased this for a small area in our home. It is sufficient to cool that area, and a little more.

Head HERE to add Hip2Save as your personal shopper!Sears Holdings Chairman and CEO Edward Lampert wants to return the money-losing retailer to profitability this year, after five years of losses. To do so, the company must get more from its Shop Your Way members and is experimenting with smaller-scale stores, Lampert told shareholders at Sears' annual meeting in Hoffman Estates.Sears will debut a new store dedicated solely to appliances next week, Lampert said.
The outlet, which will be between 7,000 and 10,000 square feet, will debut in Fort Collins, Colo., next week. He said more stores will likely follow across the country, some as soon as later this year. An average Sears store is about 15 times bigger, at 138,000 square feet."I think we'll do more of those stores,” he said to the audience of shareholders today. “Stores in general aren't going away."The Colorado store is significant not only because it represents a foray into a new format, but because it's one of the first new ground-up Sears store in a long time. A test store dedicated to fitness equipment opened in Northbrook in early 2013 but has since closed. Overall, of course, the company has been closing its big-box stores at a rapid clip as it attempts to transition from a bricks-and-mortar retailer to a more nimble and less cost-laden "omnichannel" company. The latest casualty in its retreat: Its oldest department store, in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood, will be shuttered in early August.
A Kmart on the Southwest Side also is slated to close this summer. Now that money-losing stores are closing and expenses are being slashed, Sears is going to increasingly focus on its best categories, best stores and best customers in order to drive revenue, Lampert said. Sales have declined for nine years straight, and the company has posted losses for the last five, including a $1.13 billion loss last year. The small-scale appliance store is an example of how Sears will focus on its best categories, such as Kenmore appliances which long have been popular with shoppers. Still, that won't be enough to revive the company. Sears needs its best customers—the ones who make purchases frequently as part of the company's Shop Your Way membership program—to spend more. To that end, Lampert told shareholders, Sears needs to double-down to ensure members receive better values and better shopping experiences. Investors apparently didn't like what they heard. Shares fell more than 5 percent to $12.75, their lowest price since Lampert merged Sears and Kmart in 2005.Shop Your Way members sign up to receive coupons, and free shipping, and earn points that can be converted into dollars.
that lets shoppers see what merchandise their friends have "liked" or purchased. Sears, in return, receives rich data about these customers that helps it adapt more quickly to serving them. The program has been Lampert's pet project of the last five years. But after defending it and explaining that building such a platform and changing customers' behavior requires a lot of patience, he admitted what a lot of skeptical observers have long assumed: Shop Your Way just isn't getting people to spend enough money. He said the platform has an enormous number of registered members, but many of them are not as active as he would like. Three-quarters of Sears' revenue comes from registered Shop Your Way members, but many of them are not frequent buyers."Getting people engaged and interested is super-important," he said. "We've built the platform, (but) we've fallen short on getting them engaged. Are we really getting the bulk of their purchases? We want to serve our members deeper. If you shop with us 10 times a year and spend $300, we'd like you to shop 100 times a year and spend $3,000."“
Ultimately we need to make Shop Your Way better,” he said. The platform, which adds a variety of social and sharing features on top of loyalty-related coupons and e-commerce, needs more activity to become meaningful. “On Facebook, if you're not following anybody and they're not following you, it's not that interesting,” he acknowledged. “Our reputation will change when we get (the Shop Your Way network) to matter.”The way to get Shop Your Way to matter, he said, is to provide Sears' most active customers with a great experience every time they undertake a transaction. They need to receive the merchandise they want in a completely frictionless manner, Lampert said. In order to accomplish this, he stressed the need to partner with third parties, often competitors, to deliver the merchandise in the most efficient way possible.“We like to think that we are going to be a company that is easy to do business with,” Lampert said. “We're working hard to extend (our) ecosystem of partners."
I think there are going to be a lot more opportunities for retailers to partner with each other outside of outright acquisitions," he added. "I think there's a lot of anachronistic thinking in the industry: 'We don't want to work with our competitors.' " But, Lampert said, that's changing. He referenced Target's sale of its internal pharmacies to CVS as another example of retailers' increasing willingness to partner with best-in-class providers to deliver excellent customer service. He also mentioned Netflix's use of Amazon Web Services to deliver its content to customers, even though Amazon itself has entered the streaming video market and is now a direct competitor to Netflix. In Lampert's ideal world, shoppers would use Shop Your Way points as their currency of choice. The platform, he says, already has the technology to offer very sophisticated deals to targeted shoppers but just needs shoppers to become more active on it."We want to reward people for doing more business (on Shop Your Way), not just with us but with our partners," Lampert said.
