From March to June last year, the sales of airconditioners and refrigerators were more or less flat because of the intermittent rains. We expect a 15-20% growth this year," said Kamal Nandi, business head & executive vice-president, Godrej Appliances.It is not just the primary sales (company to dealers) that are seeing an increase. Even secondary sales (shops to consumers) are rising. Companies have also started giving some perks like free installation during the initial period."Earlier, Pune used to sell very few airconditioners.

Inquiries have increased since February 25 and our display in showrooms has also gone up.
