Great Air Conditioner especially for the price, cools down my smallish living room to the point where it was actual to cold. I would highly recommend haven a window brace or mount on the outside of the window. Fits in my window which is 25" wide with no problem however I had to remove the bottom part of the window in order for it to fit length wise appx :13-14" high as my apartment is in the attic. More traditional windows should be fine. Also, the bracket to brace the air conditioner on the inside sill is short so a window sill that is short will not be able to take the bracket, unfortunately I learned the hard way and mine is braced by the window alone. I bought this in hopes it will help cool down my house that is 1100 sq ft. Let me tell you I am so happy I bought this unit. It has a remote and a lot of functions my old one did not have. I live in central Florida so if you have been here you know it can be hot. We aren't in the summer months but I think it will be able to keep up.

The only thing I cannot mention is how much more my electric bill is with the new unit. This is a great buy! Love that there is a remote so when it gets too cold I don't have to get out of bed. I put this in my bedroom in the sweltering Cali heat we have been having and it is amazing. I have a floor AC unit in my living room (no central AC!) and this unit is, by far more powerful ( same BTU strength) It is a little loud but I don't care because it delivers the cold air!! I live in Houston Tx and the temps have been in the 3 digits. This cools my living and dining rooms off wonderfully and he have high vaulted ceilings.
